This site serves as a comprehensive archive of the vast world that inhabits my brain. Here you will find long and short-form narrative writing paired with fully rendered characters, in-world objects, flora, fauna, architecture, and landscapes. Everything featured on this site is a part of the same fictional universe and is designed to be searched much as you would a dictionary.
I hope that with this tool the interconnected veins that join my work become clear, and that they can lead you faithfully to the heart.

Once I have a significant repository of related works, I will be publishing high-quality printed compendiums of the content from this site.

FAQs

How do I care for my bronze jewelry?

To avoid altering the finish, keep your jewelry away from excessive moisture, swimming pools, saltwater bodies, and other corrosive substances like ammonia. In addition to this, frequently worn pieces should be re-waxed with Renaissance Wax (or Minwax Floor Paste in a pinch) every 2-3 years. If any tarnish occurs, you can wipe it away with a Sunshine Cloth, or simply wear your jewelry more often (the tarnish will disappear naturally with handling). When placed in storage, keep your bronze in a non-airtight container wrapped in a clean cotton cloth, out of direct contact with other metals for any extended period of time.

If these guidelines are not followed your piece may eventually turn green, but the metal will not be harmed – it is an aesthetic difference only! Please contact me if you have any further questions, or if any damage occurs, and I will happily assist you.

Policy on Refunds and Returns

Overview

I offer a 30-day refund and return policy. If 30 days have passed since your purchase or if your item is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons outside of my control then I cannot offer you a full refund.

If damage occurred due to poor craftsmanship, then I can either issue you a full refund once I receive the item (you are responsible for the cost of return shipping), or I can repair the item for free and send it back to you (in which case the shipping in one direction will be paid by me, and the other direction by you). Repairs that need to be made due to extensive use of the product do not qualify for free repair or refund.

Custom orders, gift cards, and downloadable digital content are non-returnable and non-refundable.

A receipt or proof of purchase will be required for all returns.

Refunds

If I approve you for a refund, your original method of payment will be automatically credited within a few business days.

If your refund seems to be late, contact your bank to check their processing times, as it can differ depending on your institution. If the refund still has not gone through, then contact me at dismesmenagerie@gmail.com.

Exchanges

I do not offer exchanges.

However, if all of the following conditions are true:

A: The item(s) in your order are not one-of-a-kind.

B: I have additional copies of these item(s) in stock.

C: It has been over 2 weeks and your order seems to have been lost by USPS.

Then I will send you a replacement for free.

Shipping returns

Once your request for a refund has been accepted, a mailing address for the return will be emailed to you.

You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs regardless of the return circumstances – I am an independent artist with low profit margins, making this policy a regrettable necessity.

If you are returning more expensive items, it would be a good idea to use a tracked shipping or purchasing shipping insurance – if I don’t receive the returned item, I can’t offer you a refund.
